Taught by Segovia Dance Company
February 2, 2015, is the first day of regularly scheduled Latin
dance classes which will be taught on Mondays from 6:30PM until 8:30PM and on
Thursdays from 6:30PM until 8:30PM at Cité des Arts.
These classes are for anyone who would like to learn to Latin
dance.
No experience necessary!
The classes will begin promptly at 6:30PM and last until 7:30PM at
which time we will smoothly transition to the next class. We would also like to
announce that we are having open registration for kids ages (7-13) and
teenagers (14-17) to become part of our junior company performance teams.
Additionally, open and informal auditions will be conducted for everyone 18+
who is interested in becoming part of our Company performance team.
Renee Segovia is a native of Mire, Louisiana, and is the Owner and
Director of Segovia Dance Company. Renee has been studying dance since 1991 and
began teaching Latin dance in 2013. It has become her mission to enrich the
lives of anyone willing to learn one dance at a time.
