Feed & Seed will open Thursday through Saturday nights with more evenings to be added and special events in the works.  Built in the early 1900's, the warehouse was the city's Feed & Seed store for many years before becoming an underground concert venue. Richard Young, who purchased the property over a year ago was attracted to its originality and saw great potential in the space. His vision was to create a space that gave a more mature and sophisticated audience an eclectic and cool space to hangout after work, a downtown event, or a nice dinner.  A place where you can converse without having to scream over the music, enjoy a drink, and occasionally watch a great live performance in a nonsmoking atmosphere.

Feed & Seed is managed by his Director of Events and Operations, Jeanne Lousao, who is working to create Young's vision. "Feed & Seed has such a cool ambiance, but I feel it's time to take it to the next level. My goal is to create a fun and comfortable place that I feel Acadiana professionals and enthusiasts will enjoy.  We've created a new cocktail and wine menu, added lounge areas to the space, and have plans for additional aesthetic improvements.  In the next few months we'll begin new events such as a weekly free dance lesson, live music events, and eventually we will begin bringing in touring comedians for a monthly comedy night."  Young and Lousao are confident Feed & Seed is going to be a fun and entertaining addition to Lafayette's nightlife scene.  They invite you to experience the funky, chic, and rustic warehouse  that musicians loved to play when it was an underground venue and a "secret" to many.

Feed & Seed offers a relaxed environment,  tasteful music, occasional live performances, specialty cocktails, wine, and a premium selection of local and imported craft beers.
