Curiosity grows into obsession as Amy searches for the stranger who left the flowers, while keeping her activities a secret from her live-in mother and seven-year-old son. The search leads to an unusual friendship that transforms her world and redefines her life.

"Inspiring! Destined to become a book club favorite." Alicia Robinson/reader review

Review:

I have to say that this is one of my favorite books that I've read this year.  It is a book that so many people can identify and empathize with on a deep personal level.  When I started reading this one, I didn't even take a look at who wrote this book, but now seeing that it was Kim Kano I am not surprised.  I read her other novel On The Inside, and loved it.  While both books are about middle aged women, they are so different but both are emotionally packed.

A Widow Redefined is about the unlikely friendship of two women from different worlds, who bond over the death of a man they both loved.  It proves that money can not buy you happiness.  Of course, I'm sure it doesn't hurt.  I'd be more than willing to try this theory out of anyone wants to give me some money.  Seriously though, both women are strong in their own ways, and both have their own insecurities.  I really don't want to say much about the story but it is a thoroughly engrossing and emotionally charged book

I give this one 5+ stars.  Once I started the book, I couldn't put the book down.  Kim Cano's talent knows no bounds.  I'm sure she will end up on the top of Bestseller's List.  This is a wonderful book that you will want to share with your girlfriends.  You don't have to worry about adult situations.  This book is appropriate for all ages.  I strongly urge you to run (not walk) out and get a copy of this book now.  You will love it.
